De Niro stages a Heist.
“Heist” is a fun casino heist movie where we finally get to see Robert De Niro try to murder Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Morgan, Gina Carano and Dave Bautista provide for amazing supporting work. However, I don’t see this being a wide appeal movie. That being said, give it a shot. It’s very rare to get solid action work anymore.
The Blu-Ray comes with a director’s commentary, deleted/extended scenes, featurette, interviews and a trailer gallery as the special features. The A/V Quality is strong for a low budget affair. The 1080p transfer plays a bit dark. However, the DTS-HD 5.1 track makes the action come to life. It’s worth a purchase.
