“Blind Innocence”: A Captivating Tale of Secrets and Isolation Now Streaming for Free

“Blind Innocence,” a film that masterfully weaves a narrative of mystery and familial bonds set in the secluded countryside of the 1800s, marks a significant achievement for writer and director Hugo Andre. This poignant story follows the life of a father and daughter living a modest existence far removed from the conveniences of modern life, enveloped in the tranquility and isolation of their rural cottage. As the daughter grows curious about her father’s mysterious daily outings, forbidden to venture beyond their property, the unfolding narrative reveals a dark secret at the heart of their seclusion.

Producer Lucas A. Ferrara shares his enthusiasm and pride for the film’s success beyond the festival circuit. With experience in over 175 films, Ferrara notes, “Most shorts don’t have a life after the festival circuit. Many often disappear into oblivion. That’s why we’re particularly humbled and honored that this award-winning film is now streaming, for free, on Plex and Tubi. ‘Blind Innocence’ is not to be missed.”

Hugo Andre, a prodigious talent in the film industry since his teenage years, has contributed to over 50 productions. By 18, he had written and directed a short film that garnered over 20 awards and nominations, showcasing his knack for creating character-driven stories. His first feature film, “MAKEUP,” was produced during the COVID-19 pandemic, continuing his exploration of the nuances of relationships and their impacts on mental health with the same depth and sensitivity.

“Blind Innocence” has been met with critical acclaim, securing multiple awards at prestigious film festivals around the world, including Best Film and Best Director at the London International Film Festival, the Grand Jury Award at the Oniros New York Movie Awards, and several accolades at the White Deer International Film Festival for Best Short Film, Best Original Screenplay, and more.

Blind Innocence is now available for streaming at no cost on PLEX TV and TUBI TV, offering viewers the opportunity to immerse themselves in a story that delicately examines the complexities of human relationships set against a backdrop of compelling mystery and historical intrigue.
