Mickey vs. Winnie: A Gruesome Duel of Childhood Icons in the Making

In an audacious move, Untouchables Entertainment, in collaboration with iHorror, is producing a riveting new horror feature, “Mickey vs. Winnie”. This film brings together the now-public-domain characters of A.A. Milne’s “Winnie-the-Pooh” and Mickey Mouse from the iconic 1920s “Steamboat Willie” in an epic showdown where only one will survive.

Two decades after the horror genre saw monumental crossovers like ‘Freddy vs. Jason’, ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, and ‘Alien vs. Predator’, “Mickey vs. Winnie” is poised to become a new cult classic with its unique blend of childhood nostalgia and nightmarish horror.

Glenn Douglas Packard, an Emmy-nominated choreographer turned filmmaker, known for “Pitchfork”, is at the helm, directing from his original screenplay. Packard’s vision for this film is clear, “Horror fans relish the thrill of iconic figures clashing on-screen. While licensing often complicates such crossovers, ‘Mickey vs. Winnie’ is our homage to this exciting genre.”

The premise is chilling: in the 1920s, two convicts escape into a cursed forest, only to be swallowed by its dark depths. A century later, a group of friends on an Airbnb getaway stumble into the same forest. Their vacation takes a terrifying turn when the convicts, now mutated into grotesque versions of Mickey Mouse and Winnie-the-Pooh, emerge to haunt them. What follows is a horrific night of survival as these beloved childhood characters morph into monstrous adversaries.

Anthony Pernicka, founder of iHorror, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, “We’re excited to present a fresh, horrifying take on these iconic characters. This isn’t just about characters in masks; we’re delivering full-blown, live-action horror transformations. The intense scenes we’ve crafted will forever change how audiences perceive Mickey Mouse.”

Production is already underway in Michigan, with Packard producing under his Untouchables Entertainment banner, alongside creative partner Rachel Carter. Pernicka is producing for iHorror.

“Mickey vs. Winnie” promises to be a bloody battle that paints the forest red, offering horror fans an unforgettable experience as two titans of childhood clash in a spectacle of gore and terror.
