Blue Underground Celebrates “Deathdream” with a 50th Anniversary 4K Release

On May 21st, Blue Underground will release a new 4K restoration of Bob Clark’s horror classic “Deathdream” (also known as Dead of Night), in celebration of its 50th anniversary. This chilling film, inspired by W. W. Jacobs’ “The Monkey’s Paw,” follows a family traumatized by their son’s apparent death in Vietnam, only for him to return home under mysterious and frightening circumstances.

Special Features and Extras

The 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions will include extensive extras such as audio commentaries, retrospective interviews, restored trailers, and still galleries, providing fans and new viewers alike a comprehensive look into the making of this seminal horror film.
