QUANTUM LEAP SEASON 1 REVIEWED

“Quantum Leap” is back with repackages for budget minded DVD buyers. These appear to be the original cuts with the Bakula voiceovers that were dropped from the syndication run. While this was initially midseason replacement, there’s not a ton of setup outside of the pilot. That being said, the charm of the classic run of the series had yet to be found. But, that was the case with most of these high concept series from the 80s/90s. Back when there were 4 channels, you had the opportunity to let things breathe. Stay tuned for coverage of Season 2.
