Fort Yuma Gold / Damned Hot Day of Fire is the best Mill Creek Western Double Feature [Review]

Fort Yuma Gold is also known as For A Few Extra Dollars. If you’ve never seen it, then you’re on par with most of the world. Montgomery Wood leads a group of Confederate soldiers with ulterior motives that wants nothing to do with the Union. That’s when the crazed Major Sanders wants to raid Fort Yuma for some gold.

Damned Hot Day of Fire is a Spaghetti Western faux biopic about the creator of the Gatling Gun. The Gatling angle is there for 20 minutes and then it’s let us see how many people can get shot fast. Heat abounds and everyone goes crazy. What’s funny is that it’s the fastest moving 101 minutes that I’ve seen in recent memory.

What does it all mean? Not much. I just love it when Mill Creek pairs some killer films together.
