FRANKENSTEIN: THE COMPLETE MINI-SERIES EVENT

FRANKENSTEIN REVIEWED

“Frankenstein” attempts to serve as a straight adaptation of the original Shelley story. Relying more on storytelling framing and pushing the monster to the corners of the story creates something that works for TV. But, it also feels cheap when compared to other versions. For a film that barely cracks three hours, I have a hard time seeing how this was a two night event. But, I don’t watch basic cable enough to remember how that kind of thing works.
