Eureka Entertainment adds another must-have to the Eureka Classics range with THE DAREDEVILS & ODE TO GALLANTRY—two iconic Venom Mob martial arts adventures from director Chang Cheh, arriving on Blu-ray March 25, 2025. This special double feature is limited to 2,000 copies, complete with an O-card slipcase and a collector’s booklet.

- The Daredevils: Set in the Republic era, it follows Yang Ta-ying (Lo Mang) seeking revenge against Han Pei-tsang (Wong Lik), the murderous thief who took everything from his family. Yang partners with Chen Feng (Chiang Sheng), Fu Quanyi (Lu Feng), and Xin Zheng (Sun Chien) to reclaim justice.
- Ode to Gallantry: A lone fighter nicknamed “Mongrel” stumbles upon the Black Iron Token, a power-granting talisman that draws multiple warring factions into deadly conflicts. With Xie Yanke (Wong Lik), a brutal kung fu master, at the token’s center, alliances and loyalties keep shifting.
The Venom Mob Legacy
After starring in Five Deadly Venoms (1978), this group—Lu Feng, Chiang Sheng, Philip Kwok, Sun Chien, Lo Mang, and Wai Pak—became a staple in Chang Cheh’s films, packing each one with high-energy choreography and intense showdowns. These two classic titles highlight the Mob’s breathtaking martial arts capabilities and Chang Cheh’s creative vision.
