“The Carol Burnett Show: Treasures from the Vault” proves that apparently every show from 1967-1970 was lost at some point. Carol Burnett offers up the favorites such as The Old Folks, Carol and Sis and As the Stomach Turns. I love it when we get the favorites, but there is a sense of history to these episodes. You get to see Lucille Ball’s first appearance on the show. Plus, you get to see a young Tim Conway show up. Younger viewers might have an issue with the Variety Show format, but it grows on you. What I dig is that all 15 episodes are presented uncut. Time Life knows how to do it right. The DVD comes with interviews, bonus sketches, featurettes and outtakes as the special features.
