“Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise” is the latest Jesse Stone caper. The aging baby boomer cop has cleaned up the small town of Paradise and now he wants to solve the case of the Boston Ripper. While this AARP member believes there might be more to the case, he’s getting rammed off the road by a random yahoo. He’s just a consultant and already these hothead Boston kids are trying to kill him! It’s the rapping dubstep music!
Tom Selleck used to be cool when I was a kid. He was Magnum, he was nearly Indiana Jones and he helped teach Ted Danson how to raise a human child. But, years grew on and warped Selleck into a vocal Right Wing old fogie who pushes his mentality through all of his roles. It’s annoying when the Left does it, so imagine how tactless it feels coming from the Right. If you’re a fan of “Blue Bloods”, you’re already onboard.
The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is on par with past Jesse Stone TV movies. Still, that’s not saying much. I never saw it air live, so I can’t say if the broadcast HD transfer was that much better. It’s one for your parents, especially the Right Wing leaning ones.
