“L.O.R.D.: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties” feels like a collection of video game cut scenes. Seven Lords fight for dominion over a fantasy world. Meanwhile, amazing foreign cinema grade CG dominates heavy scenes to the point that I felt like I was playing an updated spin on Dragon’s Lair. For nearly two hours, I could barely hang with the story. But, I was so damn mesmerized by everything I was seeing. This works for a demo reel, but fails as a narrative feature.
