Pranks shows are the best things to watch in 1992.
“Impractical Jokers” is entering its fifth season this Fall. All I’ve got to say is that if you’re been onboard since the first episode, it’s still the same thing. Four guys creating elaborate setups that rely more on the jokes than the personality. All they want to do is find new scenarios that can humiliate each other. It’s like four prank shows in one, but nobody gets hurt. Maybe emotional scarring takes place, but nobody will see that for years.
The DVD comes with deleted scenes, commentaries and digital originals as the special features. The A/V Quality is strong for standard definition. However, you have to decide if you’re willing to spend 11 1/2 hours watching guys screw around with each other. It’s funny when they’re getting hurt like Jackass, but can you sustain just jokes? Ponder that one.
