The new martial arts saga Warrior Island is holding its red carpet premiere in Times Square, New York City on November 11th. After 12 years in development, the TV movie will unveil its first public screening with stars from the action genre in attendance.
Creator James Jefferson will walk the red carpet alongside cast members like The Transporter’s Silvio Simac and Viking Samurai’s David Kurzhal. Legendary action screenwriter Sheldon Lettich (Bloodsport) will also be present.
The premiere coincides with the 11th Annual Urban Action Showcase & Expo at AMC Empire 25 theater. The day-long martial arts megathon will feature panels, contests, and additional exclusive content surrounding Warrior Island’s debut.
Warrior Island is spanning Comic Books and Video Games
Beyond the TV movie, Warrior Island has expanded into a multimedia universe. Jefferson’s tropical island-set martial arts saga includes comic books, video games, and an upcoming animated series.
After more than a decade of world-building, the red carpet premiere and Times Square takeover represent a celebratory launch for this ambitious multi-platform franchise.
