THE WINTER REVIEWED
“The Winter” is quite a dark FX heavy Greek drama. A successful Greek ex-pat returns home from England to write in the home of his dead father. While trying to create the next great novel, he starts being haunted by the things that tortured his dad. Is our hero experiencing severe depression or something worse? Feeling like a Grecian Lovecraft tale, the movie escalates faster than I expected. Quite the unexpected treat to finish out the month.
