“These scary movie bosses fill us with fear and laughter, while making us feel thankful about our own supervisors and working situations,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “Watching the worst bosses on film offers a weird form of escapism, a similar feeling to viewing on-screen disasters  –when we walk out of the theater, we’re so pleased that it’s only a movie and not part of our nine-to-five reality.”

FandangoNOW has created a special playlist of Kevin Hart’s Favorite Comedies, which is available now.

In anticipation of the release of Kevin Hart: What Now, Hart spoke with Fandango’s Tiffany Smith via Facebook LIVE to offer up insight into his favorite funny movies. To share these flick picks with comedy-lovers, FandangoNOW has created a special playlist of Kevin Hart’s Favorite Comedies, which is available now through the service.

Hart also offered insight into his choices, explaining to Fandango why his favorite comedy films hold a special place in his heart;

“I love movies like “Harlem Nights,” which starred Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor and “Life,” where Eddie teamed with Martin Lawrence. These men are among my favorite comedians and their films always inspire and entertain me. I stand where I stand today because they opened up doors for me, allowing me to do what I’m doing at the level that I’m doing it. I will never forget that. I will never take a step into the realm of thinking that I’m above and beyond. Kevin Hart is Kevin Hart because of their groundwork and I’m just trying to pull off for my generation what those guys did for theirs.”
