Cult comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000 is back this Thanksgiving with its biggest Mega Turkey Day movie marathon ever. Spanning two full days from November 23-25, the Turkey Day Marathon Telethon will feature 24 classic MST3K episodes riffing on cheesy films.
The event kicks off Thanksgiving morning in keeping with the show’s tradition since 1988. But this year the movie-mocking madness continues through Black Friday as both a marathon and a telethon supporting the show’s future.
MST3K is currently crowdfunding its 14th season via their new platform The Showmaker. The Turkey Day Telethon leads into the campaign’s final hours, with fans directly enabling more episodes. Donate by visiting Showmaker.MST3K.com.
This year’s marathon features picks handselected by the show’s writers, including fan favorite episodes like Viking Women and the Sea Serpent and The Pumaman. Holiday-themed installments, recent Season 13 episodes, and “surgically enhanced” classics with HD visuals are also included.
