Lost Linnea Quigley Slasher Movie Scream Queen Gets November Blu-ray Release

The shot-on-video horror label Visual Vengeance has revealed its next obscurity-rescuing Blu-ray release: the long-lost Linnea Quigley slasher Scream Queen. Street-dated for November 28th, this marks the first wide home video release for the rare 2002 film.

Directed by indie stalwart Brad Sykes, Scream Queen stars scream queen icon Linnea Quigley as an actress who dies under mysterious circumstances on the set of a microbudget horror flick. Soon, the cast and crew start getting knocked off by a masked, axe-wielding killer seeking vengeance for her death.

Considered a “lost” entry in Quigley’s filmography, this blending of 90s shot-on-video style and Italian giallo sensibilities will finally see the light of day. The new Blu-ray from Visual Vengeance rescues it from obscurity and gives fans a chance to re-discover an under-the-radar gem.
