Independent Project Records and the iconic David J (of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets fame) have exciting news for fans: a West Coast tour set to kick off in support of the much-anticipated triple album, “Tracks From the Attic.” The album, which includes digital, CD, colored vinyl LP, and a Super Deluxe Box Set Art Edition, is slated for release on May 3.
An Intimate Evening with David J
The tour commences with a unique event titled “Enter the Attic: An Evening with David J” at the Bodecker Foundation in Portland, Oregon, on the album’s release day. This special evening will feature a tiered ticket event that includes an engaging interview and Q&A session with David J, moderated by Jeffrey Clark (Shiva Burlesque/IPR). Attendees will be treated to a two-part live performance set against the backdrop of the Bodecker skate pool’s remarkable acoustics and design—a site previously showcased on the Stephen Colbert Show.
The event will also include a screening of music videos and a private viewing of David J’s original paintings, some of which are featured in the deluxe box set edition of “Tracks From the Attic.” For fans worldwide, a ticketed live streaming option will be available for 48 hours post-performance, including a digital download of the live show for all in-person and virtual guests.
