DAPHNE & VELMA REVIEWED
“Daphne & Velma” felt like it should’ve been a TV-movie or the start of a younger Scooby-Doo revamp. But, it’s a rather short feature that works as a way to divorce the guys from the Scooby gang. While I appreciate watching Daphne and Velma debunk a Zuckerberg wannabe, it feels like it’s meant to be the first stuff to something more. Sarah Gilman makes for a terrific Velma and I appreciate what Sarah Jeffrey brings to Daphne. It’s just that this is a very slight movie.
I hope that there will be a sequel to build upon this world, but I’m holding my breath. Until then, check out this additional coverage we did celebrate this film’s release.
