CSI: CYBER – THE FINAL SEASON REVIEWED

“CSI: Cyber” finally died on the vine this year. While I get that the CSI brand still has power to some people, it’s dead. What could’ve been an amazing vehicle for Patricia Arquette just does nothing. There are amazing speculative cases about modern cyber crime this year. The sex toys with bad malware is insanely smart. Hell, I even loved what they did with the Emmett Smith cameo.

It’s just that this last year felt like a show decided by a test audience. Every bland appeasing effort was made to create a show by some for no one. More than anything, this show is representative of what’s going wrong on Network TV. When amazing ideas are found in tired concepts, the expert push is to destroy any sense of individuality. How can a show like this expect to survive?
