COMIN’ AT YA REVIEWED
“Comin’ At Ya” is a fun later era Tony Anthony film that uses 3D to poke fun at Western conventions. While there is a degree of humor, the film works as a straight forward Western. If you’re looking for anything memorable, well the film is far better remembered for its place in time. Coming right at the resurgence of 3D in the early 80s, it’s the little indie film that kickstarted the return of cinema’s greatest gimmick. The ending is abrupt and large swaths of the film are without dialogue. But, it looks pretty. That still counts…right?
