A CINDERELLA STORY: IF THE SHOE FITS REVIEWED
“A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits” took awhile to review. It’s not heavy material and it’s not any different than its first iterations. However, one has to wonder who is keeping this series afloat. Sure, the first movie got a theatrical release, but the other films have gone straight to video. But, there’s a need for girl power movies on home video.
I keep telling myself that, as I realize my daughter will one day be old enough to enjoy this. Hopefully, that phase is slight and she gets heavy into non terrible movies. For those that care, pretty mechanic girls learns that man work makes her ugly. Mechanic gets pretty and finds a way to make the Pop Star boy pay attention to her. However, related females are mean to her because she’s pretty. Can our lead mechanic girl use the powers of pretty to save the day?
The answer is Yes. Pretty mechanic girl also pretends to be slightly foreign non mechanic girl. Who said that heavy gender politics can’t find their way into kid cinema? The film is rated PG, because somebody farted or showed heterosexual female interest in a car or something.
