The Stig isn't the best actor.
“Ben Collins Stunt Driver” is this weird attempt to blend real life and fiction to create something bland. So, The Stig is testing cars and fighting espionage efforts now? But, was that fictional and it’s just an effort to test cars? I thought that was the case, but the film does a terrible job of blending what’s going on. Naturally, it makes sense why Lionsgate seems to be dumping it.
What appears to have been an obvious European TV production comes across as more noise in the void as 2015 comes to an end. I love the work that the guys did on Top Gear, but this makes zero sense. Are people this hard up to see The Stig in action? Ben Collins stunt work is amazing, but I’ve seen better with his work on Bond and Kingsman. Rent it only if you’re curious.
