A Beautiful Planet is a stunningly beautiful look at the Earth and its experiences. Shot over 15 months, the IMAX film details life on the ISS and what astronauts see that no one else gets to experience. Whether it’s environmental changes or super storms terrorizing the planet, it’s all seen from above for the masses. Jennifer Lawrence makes her IMAX documentary debut here and she does well. But, I think it’s a court order here that everyone has to praise J-Law.
I will say this, though. The 4K transfer is great and the Atmos track really bumps. However, I wish that there were special features on the disc to help expand upon what was onscreen.
