CONAN THE BARBARIAN 4K REVIEWED
“Conan the Barbarian 4K” looks amazing in the next-gen format. While up-close battles in gritty settings might not set the world on fire, it does build the world. Add onto that the impressive hits and sword clashes for a fun audio treat in Dolby Atmos environment. The special features are included on the 4K disc. Some of them seem to have been release in a higher format, the majority still look 1080. If you enjoy the film, I’d recommend picking it up.
If you don’t enjoy the film, you’ll stick it up for its near reference quality A/V performance. Jason Momoa began his rise to superstar status with this lead role. While the guy had Khal Drogo and other roles before, this proved he could action act. Honestly, I’m still shocked that this hasn’t become a film franchise for Lionsgate.
