BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP: BLACK SHEEP SQUADRON – SEASON 2

BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP BLACK SHEEP SQUADRON REVIEWED

“Baa Baa Black Sheep: Black Sheep Squadron” is one of those shows that was lucky to get a second season. Sure, it was only 13 episodes. But, didn’t it feel like it went on way too long? The show was kinda cheap and played with historical facts. But, it was meant to be entertaining. Even if the transitions to stock footage were handled with a clumsy hand. Honestly, I have a hard time seeing a series like this ever getting onto the major networks in the present day.

The Black Sheep Squadron only flew for X amount of years in the Pacific. So, it’s only natural that they ran out of material. Robert Conrad was excellent in the lead, but it’s no different than what he had done before. Thankfully, the show ended and gave him time to become one of the better Dillingers caught on film. If you’re a WWII fanatic, then you’re going to love this. If you’re a classic TV fan, you’re going to be glad that the final episodes are now on DVD.
