CONVICT REVIEWED
“Convict” plays like an Aussie take on “A Prophet”. That being said, the film doesn’t ever want to tackle major issues like that. It plays the melodrama up like that Stallone prison movie from the late 1980s. I know the name, but I don’t want to dignify it with a title. While this isn’t a bad movie, it shows that the International community can make straight B fare just as easily as America. Still, it’s nice seeing David Field working again.
