“Bottoms Up” is a documentary about how plastic surgery pushes butt augmentation on African American women. The documentary doesn’t point fingers, so much as it tries to build the history behind the aesthetic push. Why does it matter and what makes it attractive to that culture? For a documentary that runs under an hour, you shouldn’t expect definitive answers. But, the time spent was quite informative. The DVD comes with deleted scenes and extended interviews as the special features.
