Vertical Entertainment has successfully secured the North American, UK, and AUS/NZ distribution rights for the highly anticipated crime-thriller film, ‘Mother’s Milk’. Directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, who co-wrote the film with Madison Harrison, ‘Mother’s Milk’ is set to take the theatrical stage on September 1st, following the successful trend of Vertical’s previous releases.
Star-Studded Cast and Gripping Plot
‘Mother’s Milk’ boasts a star-studded ensemble featuring two-time Academy Award®-winner Hilary Swank, Olivia Cooke, and Jack Reynor. The plot unravels around journalist Marissa Bennings (Swank) who teams up with her estranged son’s pregnant girlfriend, Paige (Cooke), after his untimely murder. Navigating through a world tainted with corruption and drugs in a small city in upstate New York, they seek justice while unearthing even more unsettling secrets.

The movie’s supporting cast comprises Dilone, Hopper Penn, Norm Lewis, and Karen Aldridge. The film’s production is a joint venture between Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment, Siena Oberman of Artemis Pictures, and Emma Tillinger Koskoff of First Love Films. Additionally, both Swank and Joris-Peyrafitte contribute as executive producers, along with other notable names in the industry. The movie has been financed by Sanghani’s financing arm, SSS Film Capital.
