Laurel & Hardy: The Definitive Restorations was a stunning release from MVD during the Pandemic’s heavier days. While I was still finishing up watching that stunning Universal set that Shout Factory released at the end of 2019, what did it mean to have the early stuff finally hitting Blu-ray?
In short, it was a stunning trip back through the best of what made Laurel & Hardy gel as a comedy team. If you’re a fan of Golden Age comedy, I’d recommend picking up this stellar set.
The Blu-ray comes with four discs loaded with films restored by UCLA and The Film Foundation. Check out the special features.
