I Got You Babe is a five DVD set including 10 episodes of the classic Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. You get the show pilot, a fun 1970 interview and a ton of new interviews about the show. But, what about the show? Well, it’s a late relationship entertainment offering about a couple that grew tired of each other. Think of it as Nick and Jessica: Newlyweds before either one was conceived.
Sonny & Cher will always be remembered for their music and the one William Friedkin film. Past that, they’re the relic of a relic. If you remember seeing the show live, then I assume you have a favorite New Balance shoe. Either way it goes, Time Life kills it on another fun DVD set. Pick it up if you want.
