Impulse Pictures brings the goods with some Grade-A smut.
Nun’s Diary: Confession
Nun’s Diary: Confession continues my life-long attempt to understand Nikkatsu Film. No matter how hard I roll, Japanese cinema is making movies about honeymoon rape awakening sexual passion. Mind you this was 1978 and people didn’t know to report this to fictional authorities. When the lead lady finally tells her Priest, it’s not long before she’s in a secret nun sex cult. This eventually leads to an auction where lead lady’s lover has to fight to get her back. Excitement is had by all.
Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a reminder that young women in Japanese cult films can end up in trouble. Ryoko is upset that her fiancee is already married, so she strikes out. Now, she’s locked behind bars with horned up lady criminals. Thankfully, the woman that stole her man ends up in prison too. Faster than you can download Jerry Springer’s Ringmaster, the two are going at it in more ways than one. Nikkatsu does it again. If you ever wanted to watch the kind of dirty movies that keep Japan hopping in the early video game era, then this is for you.
Nurse Girls’ Dorm: Shamed Angel
Nurse Girls’ Dorm: Shamed Angel is why I dig these Nikkatsu releases from Impulse Pictures. Sure, the transfers look like they were dipped in vaseline, but that’s a source issue that isn’t likely to get fixed anytime soon. So, what’s so different about this one? It’s another medical workplace themed slice of erotica. But, Impulse Pictures has added the ability to remove the English subtitles. That way, your Asian film fan friends don’t think you’re not cool.
They might have questions about you blasting softcore porn at them in the middle of the day, but that’s on them. You invited them over, not the other way around.
