“Guardians” was a fascinating Russian superhero movie with some problems. Mainly, I couldn’t work out the timeline of the film. So, it seems to be modern era, but the heroes were all created during World War II? Or was it that the process of creating superhumans during the 1940s? Also, what’s up with the Invisible chick’s powers only working in water? Did anyone figure out how all of this stuff plays on film?

I guess that the film was playing with this prolonged Cold War idea like Archer did for its first few seasons. But, then there’s the werebear. Is there a plot? Not much, as it keeps slamming you over the head with visuals. Hang with it, though. It pays off.

The Plot Thus Far
