“Welcome Back, Kotter” returns with its final season on DVD. You get to see Beau (the horrible fill-in Sweathog) and Horshack gets married. The problem with this season is that it was obvious filler, as the showrunners were trying to find a way to keep the show going. Kotter became the Vice Principal and the Sweathogs were getting close to leaving High School. Much like life in the inner city, all of these plans went nowhere. The DVD comes with no special features.
