PEPPA PIG SUNNY VACATION REVIEWED
“Peppa Pig: Sunny Vacation” is a pretty standard compilation for young Peppa Pig fans. While my kid digs the show, it feels like a lot of the episodes are retreads. Sure, they’re new to DVD, but the show is starting to feel like it’s constantly copying itself. To put this in terms that older readers can understand, think later seasons of Muppet Babies. Hopefully, that relays the issue in a Buzzfeed enough of a way.
I think it’s because the show is so very British that it might be harder for Americans fans to fully enjoy. Sure, the broad strokes are there and it makes my kid laugh. But, things like Italian vacation trips and the general nature of life are pretty different. But, it’s a show about cartoon pigs. It’s not like everything has to match up on a one-to-one level.
