“Married with Children” enters the Seven years and the world sighs hard. I grew up with the show and I used to be able to nail down specific moments by the opening joke. Then, I got over my rerun laden autistic spasms and joined the real world. If you like No Ma’am, if you like more focus on the kids and wilder plots….this was your time. Hell, I have to admit that you do get a good Bundy family ass beating on the first disc.

The later years shows what happens when Ted McGinley curses your show. He’s not a bad actor, but I guess he ran over a gypsy or something. Is Jefferson D’Arcy a spy or a gigolo? Honestly, I miss just having him be a lazy bastard that mooches off of Marcy. This was a show about losers not castaways from the Love Boat.

The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is pretty sharp for standard definition. That being said, the transfer still doesn’t get much to do. The Dolby track keeps all channels pumping. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to fans.
