MAN OF THE WORLD: THE PETER GREEN STORY REVIEWED
“Man of the World” is a look at Peter Green. You might not know Peter Green, but he’s the guy that pretty much defined Fleetwood Mac’s sound. That was before Buckingham/Nicks turned the band into their personal Livejournal and went all So. Cal rock all over it. For a rather lengthy documentary, a bit too much is spent on gathering talking heads for praise. I wanted to know way more about his splinter group in the 1990s and why he bailed. It’s not like we’re talking about Pete Best or somebody like that. Green had his reasons and they feel poorly defined here.
