JANE B. PAR AGNES V. / KUNG FU MASTER REVIEWED
“Jane B. Par Agnes V.” and “Kung-Fu Master” is an amazing Agnes Varda double feature. The films pair well together, as Varda tries to rebuild what we know about the bio-pic. Casting the leads with Varda’s own children and the kids of the female lead, we see something rather personal. After all, how do you tell an inspired domestic drama without focusing on the real domestic? The entire affair might be way too French for most, but it’s insanely interesting.
