COACH: THE COMPLETE SERIES REVIEWED

“Coach” was one the air for 9 years. After recently blasting through the sitcoms that FilmRise has set up on Amazon Prime, I’m kinda stunned to see how many shows I watched as a kid lasted so long. Mill Creek does this classic football comedy right with a complete series release on DVD. The show has been pulled from Netflix since Fall 2015 and it’s becoming harder to find on other outlets. So, what is left for fans of Coach Hayden Fox?

They need to pick up this release and try to forgive the last two years. A college coach either goes to the NFL or they get fired in that Midwest region. Fox’s work set the stage for Dauber to later pull down some Super Bowl wins. These were things that needed to happen. There is a rich history behind this show’s world-building and I wonder why more people don’t understand this. Also, why did NBC back out of bringing this show back? First, they messed up Father Dowling Mysteries and now they drop the ball here. For shame, Peacock Channel.
