BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON REVIEWED
“Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon” was one of the first big releases that AndersonVision followed and feature between 2005 & 2006. That was back when Anchor Bay still existed and our pal Ed was keeping us pumped full of tidbits. The idea of a new killer existing in the world of real movie monsters is fascinating. Sure, it’s a little too faux documentary, but the killer nature is sold perfectly. That’s not to forget Robert Englund doing his best Donald Pleasance. It’s been 12 years and we need a sequel. Make it happen, Scott Glosserman.
