Gamechangers: Dreams of Blizzcon is a way of presenting eSports to the squares. For those that know, kids really do get paid to get on their Ataris and play Plaque Attack for fun and profit. The film focuses heavily on the Korean steam, as they blast their way through StarCraft II. While that’s not a game I never played, I’m sure that he hasn’t been ruined by online players becoming whales and destroying it for newbies. Gaming is scary, older readers!
I’m not going to be the one that convinces you about the necessity of eSports. However, I say to check out the documentary and learn how different competitors struggle to reach that next level. A smaller documentary in a year of big feats, I still recommend checking it out.
