ACTS OF VIOLENCE REVIEWED

“Acts of Violence” follows a trio of brothers trying to save one of the bros’ betrothed from human traffickers. Bruce Willis shows up for an extended cameo as the family cop friend that works with the New Sons of Katie Elder to get their woman back. From there, it’s literally every other movie that Grindstone has been releasing for the last few years. I get that they have a type and that market base loves them. It’s just why not try to live above the B-Movie Action label?

Cole Hauser does well with the modest action pieces. But, most of it feels like an edgier episode of Blue Bloods from time to time. Thankfully the film plays super fast, so it never has time to drag. That being said, this isn’t a strong movie. It won’t matter to certain people, so they should buy it. People like Rene will want to Redbox it first. That’s right, readers. If you communicate with the site, we’ll work your name into coverage.

It’s an exciting age of new media. All hail the New Flesh!
