THE THOUSAND FACES OF DUNJIA REVIEWED

“The Thousand Faces of Dunjia” takes you through what a haunted blowfish can do to a town. What follows is a Kung-Fu showdown as mutant animals and other creatures keep attacking a town. Tsui Hark is still an Asian directing legend, but this feels like lesser work at times. For a nearly two hour movie, the forward narrative starts to feel like a Power Rangers episode at times. If you can look past that, you’ll enjoy it. Otherwise, this is just a quick viewing.
