BRING IT ON: WORLDWIDE #CHEERSMACK REVIEWED
“Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack” is an obnoxious title. For SEO purposes, I’ll say the word Cheersmack once more. The film is about Vivica A. Fox as the Cheer Goddess summoning non-legal girls together to compete in a Twitter fueled cheer event. All these cheer squads around the world emerge to battle it out, but it makes me wonder one thing. Which one of these kids is Eliza Dushku’s out-of-wedlock child from the first movie. It’s been 17 years, so that hypothetical child could be in this.
My wife just informed me that Eliza Dushku didn’t have a sex scene in the first “Bring It On”. I asked her what film I’m thinking of and she said it’s my sketchbook of movie ideas. Well, anyways…Twitter and teen girls and digital choreography come together to make me feel old. Really, why couldn’t one of these girls be Dusku’s love child? If you told me that Torrance Shipman had a bastard, I wouldn’t believe you. But, I could buy Missy Pantone being in the family way during the first film’s end credits. Make my idea happen, Universal.
I still don’t know what a Cheersmack is and I don’t care to find out.
