PUERTO RICANS IN PARIS REVIEWED
“Puerto Ricans in Paris” is a pretty forgettable cop comedy. But, if you can handle Luis Guzman being the lead in a Pitbull produced film, then you’re going to have a good time. The premise is a simple recovery of a stolen handbag that leads into possible counterfeiting in the midst of the Paris fashion industry. Hunting down a lead from NYC sends our two Puerto Rican cops deep into the heart of Paris fashion. Fish are out of water, laughs are had and you’ll wonder why Guzman doesn’t get to be the lead more often. He’s a national treasure, people! If you missed it during its brief theatrical run, the film hits DVD and Blu soon. We’ll have coverage.
