“Quantum Leap” returns with its first full season. Season 2 was when America started to take notice of the Bakula and the body jumps started to get way more ambitious. The first episode I ever watched was when Sam leapt into the body of a single mom whose punk kid runs away from home while trying to go see “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. The rest of the show is more about fleshing out Al and then the world that Sam left. We learn the limitations of what Ziggy can do in transporting Sam back in time. “Assassin’s Creed” would later the fix the issue of kids being able to see through the bodyswap issue. For this to work, I’m telling the audience that Quantum Leap and Assassin’s Creed takes place in the same universe. Doesn’t that make sense? It makes sense to me.
