“Falling Skies” enters its final battle against the alien invaders. Noah Wyle actually plays a badass determined to make humanity’s final stand. But, it suffers the same problem as “V”. So much time was spent building up the threat that the final payoff feels rushed. Sometimes, a show can stay on the air for too long.
The DVD comes with featurettes as the special features. The A/V Quality pops, but it’s the same as past seasons. The transfer is solid, but the Dolby track doesn’t push enough into the back channels. I’m sure that the Blu-Ray version looks better. I’d recommend a purchase to fans.
