“Archie Bunker’s Place” arrives with its first season on DVD. The series was a continuation of “All in the Family” after everyone left. The first year has terrible growing pains, as they add a cute kid and you can see the light leave Jean Stapleton’s eyes. Plus, they stuff down cameos to the point that it gets idiotic. But, it’s neat to see what has become of Danielle Brisebois recently. From the show to New Radicals to Oscar nomination. The DVD comes with no special features.
