About the Series
EPIX will be the title sponsor and official broadcaster & streaming partner for the annual series that will present at least a dozen awards contenders to guild and Academy voters at ArcLight Cinemas Sherman Oakes. Screenings are followed by revealing Q&A discussions with the casts and creators, moderated by Times journalists. Films screened over the past five years have gone on to amass 149 Academy Award, 104 Golden Globe and 76 BAFTA nominations and included the four most recent Best Picture Oscar winners.
Each event will be live-streamed via EpixHD.com and an embedded EPIX video player at latimes.com/entertainment and latimes.com/theenvelope. Select clips and highlights will subsequently accompany latimes.com stories and will be available across all EPIX platforms – on air, On Demand, online and on EPIX apps.
