After losing her mother to a psychopathic serial killer, journalist Laura Nelson (Chloe Snyder) clings to the one clue the murderer has left behind — the pages of his personal journal. And when she reads his references to famous serial killers such as Richard Ramirez and Jeffrey Dahmer in his writings, the disturbing parallels bring her nearer to catching him. The only question is, will he find her first?

Tormented by the serial killer who took her mother’s life, journalist LAURA NELSON investigates the only clue he ever leaves behind at his crime scenes: his diary pages. References in the blood-soaked pages to Richard Ramirez, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ed Gein lead Laura to learn more than she ever wanted to know about the sick minds of these monsters and how this killer is paralleling his mentors. The closer she gets to finding him, the closer he gets to finding her. It’s a cat-and-mouse game to the finish.

The DVD is a light disc that makes the most out of the material. The A/V Quality is above par and the special features are rather non-existent. Throw in an interesting feature and you’ve got a treat. I know that we have a contingent of readers that will eat this film up. Everyone else should probably stick to a rental.
